For print shops and Etsy sellers
Turn customer photos into figurines you can sell
Your customer sends a photo of their dog, their mascot or their cake-topper idea. You get a textured 3D model in minutes that opens straight in your slicer. No 3D modelling on your side.
- 3 models free
- No 3D modelling
- STL and 3MF

Customer photo
New products from photos you already get
Offer custom 3D pieces without learning Blender or paying a modeller per order.
Pet figurines and memorials
A photo of someone's dog or cat, turned into a keepsake they can hold.
Keychains and small gifts
Small, bold shapes from a single photo, easy to print in batches.
Cake toppers and characters
Mascots, cartoon characters and stylized figures come out best of all.
Where it struggles: realistic human faces. Pets, characters and bold shapes convert far more reliably. Try your own photos on the free plan before paying anything.

Questions
Want to try it on your own first? Open the generator. Use your own photos, not customers', on the free plan.
Are my customers' photos private?
On a Light or Heavy plan, your models are private unless you choose to share them. Models made on the free plan or with credit packs are published to our public gallery, so don't upload customer photos there.
Can I sell the prints?
Yes, on a Light or Heavy plan: those include a commercial license, as long as you have the right to use the photo. For a custom order, that means your customer's permission. Models made on the free plan are for personal use only.
Are the files ready to print?
You get STL and 3MF files that open in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura and OrcaSlicer. Sizing, a flat base and hollowing are done in your slicer, as with any model.
Which photos work best?
One subject, well lit, against a simple background, shot from the front or at a 3/4 angle. Pets, characters and bold shapes come out best. Realistic human faces are harder, so try a few of yours on the free plan first.
What does it cost?
Light is $20 a month for 30 models and Heavy is $50 a month for 100, both with a commercial license and private models. Your first 3 models are free. Running a platform and want to generate models from your own app? See the API docs at makeit3d.app/docs/api.
